1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to everything you create, upload, or share with PicX Studio — prompts, reference images, video and audio, generated results, and templates — on the website, in the app, through our API, and through our AI-assistant connectors. It is part of our Terms of Service; where it is stricter, it wins.
2. What you must not create or upload
2.1 Sexual content
- Sexually explicit or nude content, pornography, or erotic content of anyone, real or fictional.
- Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors or subjects who look young. We have zero tolerance: the account is closed immediately and we report it to the relevant authorities, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
2.2 Real people and identity
- Images or video of celebrities, public figures, or any other real, identifiable person without their consent.
- Impersonation of a real person or organisation, and deceptive deepfakes — content made to pass as a real event, statement, or recording of someone.
- Fake or synthetic identity documents: passports, ID cards, licences, and the like.
2.3 Other people’s rights
- Copyrighted characters, artwork, and trademarks used without the rights to them.
2.4 Harm and illegal content
- Illegal content of any kind, where you are or where you publish it.
- Graphic violence, terrorism, or violent extremism, or content that promotes them.
- Hate speech, or content that demeans people for a protected characteristic.
- Harassment, threats, bullying, or defamation.
- Content that promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Fraud, scams, phishing, or forged financial documents.
2.5 Platform abuse
- Malware, spam, or content made for mass unsolicited distribution.
- Automated abuse: scripting around rate limits, sharing accounts to evade them, or flooding the Service.
3. Your uploads
- You must own, or have the rights to use, everything you upload — images, video, and audio.
- If an upload shows an identifiable person, you must have their consent to use it this way. You are responsible for using the results lawfully.
4. Lip-sync, motion and identity references
Lip-sync, motion control, and identity-reference features animate or keep the look of a person in an image you provide. Use them only with your own likeness, or with the documented consent of the person shown. Never use them to make someone appear to say or do something they did not, or to pass a result off as real footage.
5. How we enforce this policy
- Provider safety moderation. Every prompt and output passes through the safety moderation of the model provider that runs it, which blocks sexual, violent, and other prohibited content.
- Our own prompt filtering. We screen prompts against blocked-keyword lists covering celebrity and public-figure names, copyrighted characters, and adult and illegal content.
- Rate limits. Every account has generation rate limits and a daily cap; the free trial for visitors without an account is limited to a few generations.
- Logs. We keep logs of prompts and outputs so we can investigate abuse.
- Human review. Our team reviews every report by hand.
Depending on how serious a violation is, we may:
- remove the content;
- warn you;
- suspend your account;
- ban your account permanently;
- report the activity to law enforcement where the law requires it.
Content involving the sexual abuse or sexualisation of minors always leads to a permanent ban and a report to the authorities.
6. How to report content
- Use the Report button on any template page, shared page or generated result, or
- email [email protected] with the subject “Abuse report”, the link or ID of the content, and what is wrong with it.
We review reports promptly, typically within 2 business days. For copyright notices, follow section 10 of our Terms of Service.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy as the product, the law, and new kinds of abuse change. We will update the “Last updated” date above, and give notice of material changes as described in our Terms of Service.
