Give Claude, Cursor or any MCP client the ability to generate and edit images and video with your PicX account.

1. The endpoint

Streamable HTTP at the root path — no /mcp or /sse suffix.

Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop's config file validates local (stdio) servers only — a remote MCP server dropped there is silently ignored or crashes the app on next launch.

Open Settings → Connectors.
Click Add custom connector.
Server URL: https://mcp.picxstudio.com/
Leave authentication on its default — PicX uses OAuth, so Claude opens a sign-in page on first use. No API key needed.

3. Sign in

OAuth 2.1 + PKCE

Default for hosted clients. No key in your config file — the client opens a browser sign-in the first time it connects, and PicX mints a scoped token.

Everyday use in Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Codex.

API key (pxsk_)

For developers, CI, and scripted agents. Send Authorization: Bearer pxsk_YOUR_KEY on every request — the same key as the REST API. Get one from the API Keys page in this console.

Automation and self-hosted clients.
