Can I make my generations private so others can't see them?

Yes — in fact they already are. Everything you generate is private to your account by default, and is never added to a community gallery or a public feed. There is no privacy setting you need to find and switch on, because nothing is published unless you take an explicit action: a generation becomes visible to anyone else only if you deliberately share it, and you can remove it again.
