How does the credit system work?

Credits are PicX Studio's generation currency. Each generation type costs a fixed amount: Nano Banana 2 image = 15 credits, Nano Banana Pro image = 30 credits, video generation with Seedance 2.0 = credits vary by length and resolution. Credits are deducted at the start of generation. If a generation fails due to a system error, credits are automatically refunded within minutes. You can view your credit balance and transaction history in Account Settings. Credits never expire on paid plans.

What happens when I run out of credits mid-generation?

Accepted Answer

If your account reaches zero credits before a generation starts, the request will not be processed and you'll be prompted to purchase more credits. PicX Studio does not allow credit debt or overdraft. If you run out mid-session, any in-progress generations that have already started will complete normally. You can purchase credits instantly via the credits top-up page — most payment methods are processed within seconds so you can continue without significant interruption.

Which plan should I choose — free, pro, or enterprise?

Free plan: Best for trying PicX Studio — includes starter credits, standard resolution, and watermarked downloads. No credit card required. Pro plan: Best for creators and professionals — includes a monthly credit allocation, watermark-free downloads, higher resolution outputs, priority generation queue, and API access. Enterprise plan: Best for teams and businesses — includes bulk credits, team seat management, dedicated support, custom API rate limits, SLA, and white-label options. If you generate more than 20 images per week, Pro pays for itself quickly compared to pay-as-you-go.

Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied with the output?

Credits consumed for completed generations are generally non-refundable since computational resources were used regardless of output quality. However, if a generation failed due to a system error (not a policy violation or user prompt issue), credits are automatically refunded. For billing disputes, accidental purchases, or plan subscription issues, contact support within 7 days of the transaction and the team will review your case. Subscription plan refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Do unused credits roll over to the next month?

Credits purchased as one-time top-ups never expire and always roll over. Monthly plan credits (included in Pro/Enterprise subscriptions) reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over — use them before your renewal date. You can check which credits are subscription-based vs. purchased top-ups in your Account Settings under 'Credit Balance.' Purchased top-up credits are always consumed last, after your monthly subscription allocation.

Is there a free trial available?

Yes! Every new account receives free starter credits — no credit card required. This lets you generate several images and experiment with the platform before committing to any plan. The free trial credits are enough to test both Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro image models. For video generation, additional credits can be purchased or unlocked by upgrading to a paid plan. There is no time limit on free accounts — your starter credits are available until used.
