Late-Night Tea Wind-Down Diary

CAMERA STYLE: Recorded on a compact pocket camcorder held by the subject herself. Slight rolling-shutter wobble during movement, occasional autofocus adjustments, minor exposure fluctuations when passing light sources, subtle digital noise in darker areas, naturally imperfect framing, authentic consumer-camera quality rather than cinematic footage. MOOD: Quiet late-night self-care diary. Calm, intimate, and unscripted. Feels like a real person documenting a peaceful evening at home rather than creating content for an audience. SUBJECT: Woman in her early 20s wearing an oversized sweatshirt and comfortable lounge pants. Hair loosely tied back with a few strands falling naturally around her face. Bare skin, relaxed and slightly sleepy expression. SETTING: Small apartment kitchen and living room at night. Warm lamp lighting, soft shadows, a few houseplants, books on a side table, rain visible through a nearby window. STORYBOARD: → (2s, handheld selfie shot) Walks into the kitchen carrying the camera. Soft smile. “Couldn’t sleep, so I’m making some tea.” → (2s, countertop shot) Camera set down beside a kettle. Steam begins rising as water heats. → (2s, close detail shot) Opens a tea tin and scoops loose tea leaves. Soft metallic lid sounds. → (2s, side angle) Pours hot water into a mug. Steam drifts naturally toward the lens. → (2s, handheld shot) Carries the mug toward the living room, camera slightly bouncing with each step. → (2s, medium shot) Sits cross-legged on a couch and wraps both hands around the warm mug. No dialogue. → (2s, close-up) Flips through a book, slowly turning pages. Audible paper sounds. → (2s, candid shot) Looks out the window at the rain for a moment, quietly sipping tea. → (2s, low-angle shot from coffee table) Pulls a blanket over her legs and settles deeper into the couch. → (2s, selfie shot) Small tired smile. “I think this is exactly what I needed.” → (1.5s, ending shot) Reaches toward the camera and gently lowers it onto the couch cushion. Recording continues for a brief moment before ending naturally. AUDIO NOTES: Soft rain outside, kettle heating, tea pouring, ceramic mug sounds, page turning, fabric rustling, quiet room ambience. Minimal speech with natural pauses. REALISM NOTES: Natural posture changes, occasional glances away from the camera, authentic hand movements, imperfect focus transitions, subtle camera shake, realistic indoor lighting, genuine facial expressions, no commercial styling, no beauty filters, no cinematic color grading. The final result should feel like an actual personal late-night diary clip recorded spontaneously at home.
