The main monster slowly reveals half its body from behind a giant tree. First, its massive claws sink into the mud, pushing aside the black mud and decaying leaves; then, its slick bony spine and crouched head slowly emerge from the shadows. Extreme close-ups of its face, claws, and shoulder line. Its sharp claws dig deep into the mud, pushing aside decaying leaves as black water oozes from between them. Mucus drips from the corners of its mouth onto the mud, making a faint, wet sound. It tilted its head slightly, as if assessing which angle would make it easiest to snap its prey’s throat.
